A must see in Hanoi, spent a few hours just browsing through the most interesting history of the women of Vietnam, the first floor was the history of courtship and wedding ceremony dress and artifacts.

The second floor contained women and the birthing process and methods used and the ceremony that is conducted depending on whether its a boy or girl.

The third floor I found fascinating it was dedicated to the women who fought in all they're wars along side the men folk, not in a nursing capacity, but in actual hand to hand combat, the women who where tortured and kept in the tiger cages. This was long before western women were allowed alongside men in battle. Truly courageous women.

Another floor was dedicated to the traditional women's dress through the ages including the garments of the hill tribes. Last but definitely not least the last floor was dedicated to the human trafficking, which is still happening today true stories of young women lured through various means into this illegal practice. It outlined the work the agencies do to rehabilitate these young women when they return to Vietnam so they can once again lead productive lives.
