one of the best aquarium in Japan

This aquarium is the highlight of the bay area and one of the best aquarium in Japan. It has two huge whale sharks as well as some other aware and interesting aquatic creatures, including the creepy, alien-like spider crabs. Its exhibit layout is innovative : the ten-storey whale shark tank extends vertically through the center of the building, and guests start from the top and spiral their way downward around this tank, viewing other exhibits while catching glimpses of the whale sharks from carious angels. Voice guidance systems and English-speaking staff are available. The Aquarium holds events such asa the "penguin parade" and a Christmas lights display in December every year, the Sanata Maria bay sightseeing ship departs from behind the building, and the Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel and Tempozan Market Place are just a few steps away.
